The Nelson Mandela Bay Metro says residents from Kariega will be subjected to load reduction over the next two weeks.
This is due to contractors needing at least two weeks to repair a cable fault affecting the area.
The Meto says the load reduction will only be implemented for two hours at a time.
The affected areas have been divided into three groups.
GROUP 1
Matebese; MRM6 / Mqolomba; Dlala; Makuleni; Dabaza & Feeder 1
GROUP 2
Mbengashe; Billie; Majola; Sineli; Sandunana; Ntsela; MRM10; 4th Avenue; Sarile & Feeder 3
GROUP 3
3rd Avenue; Mqongci; Phuphu; Tyhume; Majola; Jonas & Feeder 6
