Humansdorp police are searching for the culprits who broke into the Grasmere ostrich farm shop and made off with high end goods worth around R400 000.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says the thieves made off with leather goods including purses, handbags and belts.
She's appealed to members of the public who may be offered leather goods for sale to contact the police.
Meanwhile, shop owner Jill Landman says the thieves stole about 90% of her stock, forcing her to close her business for the festive season.
