Nelson Mandela Bay’s main supply dams have shown a slight decline in volume in the past five days.
According to the latest figures released by the Municipality on Monday morning, the Metro’s four main supply dams are currently at 18.74% of total combined capacity.
That’s slightly down from the previous reading of 18.82% taken last Thursday.
The largest supply dam, the Kouga, is at a mere 8.34% and the second-largest supply dam, the Impofu, is at 18.59%.
The Churchill is at 54.1% and the Groendal Dam, which serves the Uitenhage area, is at 22.44%
