A Large part of Nelson Mandela Bay is without electricity this morning, following a problem at a Substation in Rowallan Park.
Spokesperson for the Metro Kupido Baron says shortly after 7 am this morning they suddenly lost the feed of a 132KV cable feeding Rowellan park, Summerstrand, Seaview and large parts of the Western suburbs.
He says a team of technicians are already on the scene assessing the situation.
No time frame has been given as to when the power would be restored.
The power failure is not as a result of Eskom, as they informed the public this morning that the probability for load-shedding was very low for today.
