Twenty-six Lamborghinis will take part in a mass ride in Mossel Bay this afternoon (Thursday).
The event is organised by the Lamborghini South African Club. Project coordinator Gys van Staden says the visit is the prelude to more such events that they plan for 2020.
He says the vehicles will leave the Casino Road interchange at 16:30 pm and will make their way down Mayixhale Road, Bill Jeffery Road, Louis Fourie Road and the N2 to the Langeberg Mall turn-off.
They will then turn into Louis Fourie Road to the De Bakke parking area. A stop at the St Blaize cave parking area will allow photographers the opportunity to meet the drivers and take photos before the vehicles leave towards Marsh Street for the race up the hill.
The day will conclude with all vehicles parked along George Street. Van Staden says the most expensive vehicle showcased in Mossel Bay is in excess of R14-million.
