Two Port Elizabeth men have been jailed for life for the murder of a woman in the Lake Farm area three years ago.
Tembinkosi Kweta and Sibulele Mazantsi were found guilty on Monday of the murder of Robin Eberhardt.
She was stabbed to death during a robbery on a smallholding, Little Piece of Heaven, in Lakeside Road, Kragga Kamma.
Her body was found by her fiancé Garth van Niekerk.
National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson, Tsepo Ndwalaza, welcomed today's sentence passed by High Court judge, Valerie Gqiba.
"We can confirm as the NPA that two accused were both sentenced to life in prison each and two years each by the Port Elizabeth High Court as the NPA we are satisfied with the sentence handed down today we believe that the sentence will send a strong message that courts will no longer tolerate criminals and this will bring back confidence in the criminal justice system" Ndwalaza said.
