Transport Minister, Dipuo Peter, will join her provincial counterpart, Thandiswa Marawu, for the relaunch of the Metrorail bus service between East London and King Williams Town.
The service will also include Bhisho.
The Eastern Cape Transport Department says MEC Marawu will also unveil the Provincial Integrated Public Transport Master Plan on Saturday which had been adopted by the Provincial Cabinet.
"The re-launch of the bus service will officially bring to a close, the month-long October Transport Month Campaign for 2013 that the Minister and Roads and Transport MECs across the country launched at the beginning of the month," the Transport Ministry said in a statement.
"The re-introduction of the service fulfils the vision of the Department together with the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa, which is to provide enhanced mobility as a gateway to accessible social and economic opportunities and a shared future."
