Eastern Cape police are investigating a case of business robbery after four gunmen targeted the Traffic department at Enoch Mgijima Municipality in Komani.
Police spokesperson, Captain Namhla Mdleleni, says the men broke entered the Traffic department offices around 06h30 on Friday.
They said they were there to do renovations but while they were being attended to, all four drew firearms and held employees at gunpoint.
They demanded money and managed to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Captain Mdleleni says the suspects are still at large and that anyone with information is asked to contact their nearest police station.
