Knysna teen arrested for murder

A 17 year old male is expected to appear in the Knysna Magistrates' court on Thursday on a charge of Murder.

Police spokesperson, Captain Bernadine Steyn, says this relates to a stabbing incident in Hornlee on Tuesday night.

She says the teenager and the 32-year-old deceased, Maxwell Gesels, were involved in an argument when he allegedly took out a knife and stabbed Gesels in the neck.

Steyn says he died shortly afterwards.

The teenager was arrested on Wednesday night.
