Eastern Cape premier Noxolo Kiviet will engage residents of Keiskammahoek on Wednesday.
That's to address several grievances they raised with her in a recent memorandum.
Premier's spokesperson, Sipho Lunyawo, says Kiviet will be accompanied by the mayor of the Amahlathi Municipality in the meeting with members of the Amahlathi Service Delivery Committee and local residents.
He said that the residents are also taking the responsibility of cleaning the town, to demonstrate their commitment to bringing about change in Keiskammahoek.
"The Premier will view and evaluate the progress made so far, especially on matters she instructed that they should be implemented after the complaints on service delivery first came to her attention," Lunyawo said.
