Eastern Cape premier Noxolo Kiviet will hand over newly completed housing units to beneficiaries in Grahamstown on Friday.
She will be accompanied by Human Settlements MEC, Helen Sauls-August.
The Informal Settlements Upgrading Programme in Mayfield in Grahamstown has seen 175 housing units being completed, while 397 units are at various stages of construction.
The estimated cost of the project is R103 million.
The Mayfield Housing Project was identified under government's Breaking New Ground strategy adopted by Cabinet in September 2004.
