Kirkwood man arrested for allegedly killing his brother

Kirkwood police have arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly killing his 35-year-old brother.

Police Spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart says it is alleged that the two men had an argument on the farm Miskraal, near Kirkwood at around lunchtime on Sunday.

She says the victim was allegedly stabbed with a sharp object and he died at the scene.

The suspect was arrested and is due to appear in the Kirkwood Magistrates Court on Tuesday on a charge of murder.
