Kirkwood inmate found in possession of drugs

Kirkwood police are investigating a case of possession of dagga and mandrax after a prisoner was found with the drugs. 

Spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli says Kirkwood Correctional facility authorities reported the case over the weekend.

He says it is alleged that a 30-year-old inmate was found with the drugs valued at more than R1300 during a routine search operation.
