Eastern Cape King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo will not be going to jail on Saturday 3 October. .
ENCA reports that his bail has been extended by another 14 days.
This will allow him to approach the Constitutional Court.
The king argues that he should not have been charged after sanctioning his subjects.
Dalindyebo was due to begin serving 12 years in prison for kidnapping, arson, assault and defeating the ends of justice at the Wellington Correctional centre in Mthatha from 9 am on Saturday.
He says he carried out the acts according to traditional law, and shouldn't be charged.
