Police in Gqeberha are investigating a case of murder following the discovery of a body burned beyond recognition in Booysens Park.
Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says children who were riding their bikes made the gruesome discovery just after 6 pm on Wednesday.
She says they suspect that the body may have been transported to a bushy area in a wheelie bin before it was burned.
Colonel Naidu says the race and gender of the victim are unknown and police are looking for any information that could help them in the investigation.
