A Kenton On Sea resident sustained several stab wounds after being attacked in his home on Thursday night.
Police spokesperson, captain Mali Govender, says three men gained entry to a house in Kenton while the 51-year-old home-owner slept.
When he awoke after hearing a noise he was allegedly attacked and stabbed several times.
Govender says the home-owner struggled with the intruders who fled with two cellphones and his wallet.
She's appealed to anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of the suspects to contact the Kenton on Sea police.
