Central Karoo police have arrested two suspects in connection with the rape of minors.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, says members of the Beaufort West police's Visible Policing and K-9 units, arrested two suspects, aged 17 and 20, for the alleged rape of 10-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy on Tuesday.
He says the girl suffered severe injuries and had to be hospitalised for further treatment.
Pojis says the suspects will appear in court in Beaufort-West on Thursday on charges of rape, adding that police will oppose any bail application by the two.
