A teenager has been shot and killed after unknown suspects fired shots through a sliding door at a house in Kariega.
Police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says 15-year-old Keisha Goliath and a 36-year-old woman were shot shortly before 10 pm on Thursday at a residence in Vanes Estate.
She says both victims were rushed to the hospital where the teenager later passed away.
The motive for the shooting is unknown and no arrests have been made.
Police have activated the immediate implementation of the 72-hour activation plan.
