K9's find drugs hidden in couple's pool table

A Couple in their forties were arrested in Aliwal North after police found illegal drugs in their Schalk Street home.

Police Spokesperson Captain Ursula Roelofse says their four-legged friends from the K9 unit joined the search and sniffed out 7 bags of tik and crystal meth which was hidden inside a cookie box that was hidden inside a pool table.

The 45-year old man and his 43-year old wife were arrested on the spot.

The couple will appear in court soon.
