Judgment in the bail hearing of the 55-year-old businessman accused of plotting the murder of his estranged wife is expected next week.
Businessman Arnold Terblanche has been in custody since his arrest in November and will know his fate on the 28th of January.
Terblanche's bail hearing centred around the well being of his 12-year-old son and who his caretaker would be if bail is unsuccessful.
He is being charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
His two co-accused Reinhardt Leach and Dylan Cullis face additional charges of robbery with aggravating circumstances, unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, defeating the ends of Justice as well as possession of drugs.
They both abandoned their bid for bail.
Vicki Terblanche's body was found in a shallow grave in Greenbushes less than 48-hours after Leach had reported her as missing in October last year.
According to the State, she was given a Schedule 6 drug before she was smothered with a pillow.
