Johnny Clegg's Eastern Cape tour will continue despite the murder of one of his backup singers.
Bongani Masuku was shot dead in Troyeville, Johannesburg, on Saturday night, during a suspected robbery.
Roddy Quinn of Real Concerts, says the Clegg's Eastern and Garden Route's tour dates are still on.
"We discussed it at length and the concerts will go ahead and I think that is what Bongani would have wanted" he said.
He also says that Clegg's shocked and saddened by Masuku's murder.
"Actually we are very very sad about what happened and at the same time quite angry that such a senseless act can take away such a gentle person. We are devastated by it" he added.
Clegg's tour starts in the Eastern Cape on Wednesday at Hemingways in East London.
