Jeffreys Bay police have arrested two 36-year-old men during an intelligence driven operation at a residential home in Noorsekloof Street in Wavecrest, Jeffreys Bay, for the illegal possession of dagga and the cultivation of dagga plants.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart, says members received valuable information and obtained a search warrant for the premises and made the discovery Monday afternoon.
Almost 1kg of loose dagga was found stashed in a fridge and several plants as well as the equipment used to cultivate the plants were seized on the premises.
The value of the dagga and equipment is estimated at about 20-thousand rand.
The suspects are due to appear in the Humansdorp Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
