Inaugural EC Ports and Maritime conference to be held in PE

The inaugural Eastern Cape Ports and Maritime Conference will be held in Port Elizabeth from May 29 to 31.

The keynote address will be delivered by Economic Development Minister, Ebrahim Patel.

Among those who will address the conference, is Chief Executive of Transnet National Ports Authority, Tau Morwe who will spell out the parastatal’s investment and development plans for the three ports in the Eastern Cape.

In addition, Coega Development Corporation CEO Pepi Silinga will look at the strategic importance of the Eastern Cape’s two industrial development zones in the development of the Eastern Cape Maritime Sector.
