Inaugural East London fair cancelled due to weather

 Inclement weather forecast for the Easter weekend has forced the organisors of the East London Fair to cancel the event.

Organisor, Eden Louvie, says the projection of heavy rain for both Saturday and Sunday will have a disastrous impact on the East London Fair as whole.

Louvie says the anticipated disruptions included the possibility of no helicopter rides, no displays, lock down on amusement rides, and poor sales for vendors and stall owners.

A date in June is now under consideration.
