Western Cape police says a point two two rifle and old coins stolen during a robbery in which Mossel Bay lawyer, Waldemar Strauss was killed, have been found.
Police spokesperson, captain Bernadine Steyn, says the items were found in bushes near the N-2 on Wednesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the hunt continues for the four men who shot and killed Strauss after breaking into his Moquini Coastal Estate home in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The well-known lawyer was shot dead in front of his young son.
Police captain Bernadine Steyn says a number of men armed with guns and knives entered the house in Moquini Street in the early hours.
She says they tied up Strauss and his 38 year-old wife with belts before dragging her downstairs to open a safe on the ground floor.
The assailants also went to another room where they woke up Strauss' 11-year-old son but left a 7-year old boy sleeping.
Steyn says the 11 year old was taken to the main bedroom where his father was ordered to open a second safe - after which he was shot once in the head and died on the scene.
She says the gang fled on foot with several fire-arms, cellphones and jewellery.
