The Kouga Municipality is offering a reward of R10 000 for information leading to the successful arrest and prosecution of those responsible for damaging municipal infrastructure.
The Municipality recorded an increase of vandalism over the festive season while on Saturday a transformer in Humansdorp was sabotaged leaving large parts of the town without power.
Residents with information related to infrastructure damage or who have witnessed suspicious activities are encouraged to contact Senior Law Enforcement Officials Johnny Hayward at 081 322 7399 or Adam Floors at 081 215 8713.
All reports will be handled with the utmost confidentiality, and informants' identities will be protected.
