Eastern Cape police are searching for two armed suspects, after a jewelry shop was robbed in Humansdorp on Saturday morning.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Marianette Olivier says the owner was busy with his assistant, when three suspects entered the shop and pointed a firearm at them.
She says the suspects demanded jewelry, and while they were busy putting it in a bag, the owner pressed the panic button.
Olivier says due to the quick response of the security company and the Police, they managed to arrest one of the suspects, but the other two ran away.
She says the owner and the assistant were slightly injured and treated at the scene.
