Three men, aged 22 and 23, have been arrested for armed robbery in Grahamstown.
Police captain, Mali Govender says they were arrested over the weekend, after a spaza shop was robbed on Friday morning.
She says police confiscated a pistol and two rounds of ammunition.
Govender says the suspects tied-up the owner, and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, personal documents, cigarettes and cellphone airtime.
She says the suspects had previously been arrested for similar offences, and were recently released from prison.
They will appear in court soon.
