Port Elizabeth police have recovered dagga to the value of R700 000 rand on a smallholding in Crockarts Hope in the St Albans area west of the city.
Police Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg says earlier this morning police found high quality dagga in a wendy house dried and ready to be sold.
Janse Van Rensburg says a 34-year old suspect was arrested and will appear in court soon
"Members from Mount Road police station and Kabega park received information on Friday morning about a smallholding at Crockarts Hope where a suspect is dealing and cultivation of dagga. They found dagga sealed in 2 liter and 5 liter ice cream buckets ready to be packed, shipped and sold" she said.
