For the first time since the heavy rains in early September, the Churchill dam has dropped to below 100% of capacity.
The Churchill is one of Nelson Mandela Bay's main supply dams, and according to the latest figures released by the Metro, it’s now at 99.86% of capacity.
The Metro's main supply dam, the Kouga is currently 53.18% full.
There's been a gradual decrease in the dam levels in recent weeks as a combination of high temperatures and wind have taken their toll.
The combined level of the Kouga, the Churchill, the Impofu and the Groendal currently stands at an average 52.43% of total combined capacity.
Residents and visitors are urged to continue using water sparingly.
