Homeowner and mother tied up in Gqeberha house robbery

Police in Gqeberha are investigating a case of house robbery after three armed men held up a home-owner in Morningside.

Spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says the 37-year-old complainant was accosted by the men as he left his Boundary Road home early on Tuesday morning.

She says he and his mother were bound with cable-ties before the intruders ransacked the house.

Naidu says they fled with various items including a TV, laptop, cell phones and a wristwatch.
