Hitchhiker killed on N2 near Mossel Bay

Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide, after a hitchhiker was run over on the N2 near Mossel Bay on Thursday night. 

The person, whose identity is unknown, was allegedly hit by a truck, after which another vehicle drove over the body. 

Da Gamaskop Police spokesperson, Captain Wollie Fourie says a post mortem will be conducted to establish whether the body parts belong to a man or a woman.  

No one else was injured in the accident.
