A Port Elizabeth man charged with the murder of popular cyclist Clem Morris has been granted bail in the city's magistrate's court.
Andre' Gouws (26) was released on Wednesday on bail of R5000 with strict conditions.
He had been in custody since Sunday following his arrest for hitting 60-year-old Morris while allegedly driving on the wrong side of Kragga Kamma road.
Gouws also allegedly fled the scene but was arrested after a high speed chase.
He was reportedly also over the legal alcohol limit.
