A Jaguar which was hijacked from its owner on Sunday night was found abandoned in the bushes in Motherwell, NU9 on Monday morning.
Spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says it is alleged that the victim was driving in Umnulu street, shortly before midnight, when a white Toyota Avanza started to flash its lights behind him.
He says the owner alleged that the Avanza overtook him and blocked him from running further.
Beetge says two armed suspects ordered him to get out of his vehicle, on which he jumped out and ran away.
Police will now dust the car for fingerprints and forensic analysis to identify the culprits.
