Politicians and officials from Nelson Mandela Bay will hold an urgent meeting with National Treasury and the National Department of Transport in the next two weeks.
That's to discuss the budget and implementation plan for the Integrated Public Transport System.
A report to Friday's council meeting states that its anticipated that National Treasury will agree to the rollover of R298m from the current financial year.
Metrominute reports that should the rollover be approved, together with the R100m funding allocated for the 2013/2014 financial year, the total budget for the next financial year will be R398m for the IPTS project.
