Port Elizabeth police have called on the public to help them in the fight against crime.
The appeal from the Mount Road policing clusters comes in the wake of a spike in robberies from motor vehicles.
Police captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says in most cases laptop computers and cellphones were stolen out of cars.
She's urged the public not to leave valuable items in plain sight in their vehicles.
Janse Van Rensburg also encouraged the public to keep proper record of the serial numbers of electronic products.
