A twenty-two year old woman has been taken to a hospital in George after her helicopter crash-landed on the Herolds Bay road on Tuesday morning.
Police spokesperson, Captain Bernadine Steyn, has confirmed the incident, but referred further queries to the Civil Aviation Directorate.
The cause of the accident and type of helicopter involved is not yet known.
Steyn says the young woman was the only person in the helicopter when it crash-landed at about nine o'clock.
She suffered head injuries .
