DA leader Helen Zille says President Jacob Zuma 's speech on Sunday showed that he has no plan to create real jobs.
Zille was speaking at a public rally at Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan University Missionvale campus in Port Elizabeth on Monday.
She says where the DA governs, it has managed the economy properly and cut corruption, so that thousands of new jobs are created.
In reply to a question about what percentage of the vote she believes the DA would achieve, Zille had the following to say.
"If you compare our results in 2009, with what I believe they will be if there is a free and fair election on Wednesday, I think the DA will grow in every province. The Eastern Cape voters seem to be amongst those in our democracy who are saying that they hire with the vote and fire with the vote, that they have now had enough of bad governance, corruption and they are now going to vote DA."
Zille added she felt confident that the DA would govern the Metro after the 2016 local government election.
"I'm very confident that in 2016 the DA will be governing Nelson Mandela Metro. We came so close the last time and I think that more and more people are becoming blue. So I think next time the blue wave will bring good governance to the metro." says Zille.
