Police in Heidelberg in the Western Cape have arrested a suspect for the murder of a woman who had been missing for several days.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, said the arrest of the man led to the discovery of the body of 31-year-old Candice Albert on a farm on Saturday.
He said Albert was last seen alive when her friend picked her up to take her to work.
Members of the local communities at Witsand and Heidelberg had search for Albert's since Thursday.
Pojie said the man had since "confessed" to Heidelberg police and took them to where he had hid Albert's body.
He will appear in court on Monday on a charge of murder.
