Officials from the national department of health will meet with local leaders and Eastern Cape Health officials on Friday to discuss circumcision deaths.
Health Department spokesperson, Sizwe Kupelo, says the meeting will take place in Bhisho and comes in the wake of the deaths of 15 youths as a result of botched circumcisions.
In June, a total of 49 boys died while undergoing initiation in the mountains.
Kupelo says the national department of health is expected to present a plan to the province aimed at bringing an end to the problem.
