Teenager dies in Eastern Cape crash and seven die in FS

Seven people were killed and five others, including two children, were seriously injured in an accident on the N-3 near Warden in the Free State.
Netcare 911's Santi Steinman says one of the vehicles involved in the crash was split it two.
A 29-year-old woman sustained critical injuries while four others, including the two children, were seriously injured.
Meanwhile a 16-year-old girl has died in an accident on the road between Cradock and Graaff Reinet.
Police spokesperson, captain Stefanie Smit, says the accident happened early on Thursday night when the driver of a bakkie lost control of the vehicle while overtaking.
Smit says the bakkie was travelling from Cape Town to the former Transkei.
No one else was injured.
