Four men and a woman will appear in the Hankey magistrates court on Wednesday in connection with a double murder.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer, Basil Seekoei, says two other male suspects have abandoned their bid for bail and will appear in court again on the 18th of this month.
Police arrested the suspects after the bodies of 41-year-old Claudia Antonie and six-year old Lukishia Plaatjies were found in a house in Rosedale last month.
Antonie had been stabbed to death while the child had been strangled according to a police report.
Seekoei says two of the suspects Andrew and Elrico Plaatjies, both 23, are related to the victims.
