Seven suspects have appeared in the Hankey Magistrates court in connection with a double murder in the town.
The seven were arrested in connection with the murders of 41-year-old Claudia Antonie and six-year old Lukishia Plaatjies in Rosedale last month.
Antonie had been stabbed to death while the child had been strangled according to a police report.
Two of the supects are related to the victims.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei, says the case against the seven was postponed on Thursday to the 23rd of October for further investigation.
