A Gyrocopter has crashed in dense bush in the Uitenhage area.
Netcare 911 Media Liaison Officer, Chris Botha, says two people were killed in the accident this on Wednesday afternoon.
Botha says when officials arrived at the scene in dense bush near the Uitenhage airfield, they found that a Gyrocopter had crashed and burst into flames.
"Reports from the scene indicate that the aircraft crashed into dense bush and burst into flames, exact detail to the cause of the crash however will remain a subject for aviation investigation. Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found fire fighters fighting the blaze. Tragically, the two people in the Gyrocopter and died due to the extensive injuries that they sustained." says Botha.
