Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following the death of a 48-year old Graaff-Reinet man.
Police warrant officer Alwin Labans says the man was travelling from Bluewater Bay to Algoa Park on Monday.
He was alone in a white Tata Indica when he appears to have lost control of the vehicle and crashed through a wall of the Sidwell traffic department.
He later died at the scene.
