Four men arrested for an armed robbery in Gqeberha are due to appear in court on Monday following their arrest by police.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said the arrest following an incident on Friday when a 25-year-old woman and her boyfriend were robbed in Harrower Road in Kensington.
She said the suspects, one of whom was known to the woman, robbed her of her cell phone.
Naidu said after the matter was reported to Mount Road Police, a 19-year-old suspect was arrested at a shop in Harrower Road.
She said further investigations led to the arrest of the other three suspects “at a drug post in Holland Park.”
