Gqeberha police release names of M4 accident victims

Police have released the names of the three people who died in an accident on the M4 freeway in Gqeberha on Saturday.

Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says they were Ryan Cobb (38), Ryaad Bedford (50) and Bradley Fick (49).

She says a VW Polo collided with a stationary truck in the middle lane in the direction of the Mount Road offramp.

All three, who traveled in the Polo, died at the scene.

Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
