Gqeberha police are investigating a case of murder after a woman's body was found at a dumping site in Booysens Park on Friday.
Spokesperson, Colonel Pricilla Naidu says a member of the public who went to dump rubble was informed by a vagrant about the body and police were alerted.
She says the partially burnt body was in an advanced state of decomposition and police suspect that it may have been lying at the dump for about 3 to 4 weeks.
Naidu says the woman, aged between 20 and 30, was wearing a blue top and on her right shoulder, she had a tattoo of a flower.
