Members of the K-9 unit in Gqebeha have arrested two suspects and recovered a vehicle that was reported stolen in Newton Park at the weekend.
Spokesperson, Colonel Pricilla Naidu says the 67-year-old complainant parked his vehicle at his premises in 5th Avenue on Friday and discovered that it was missing the following morning.
She says the vehicle was fitted with a tracker and police later found the white Mahindra bakkie parked in Sidon Road.
Colonel Naidu says two suspects, aged 24 and 29, were found offloading equipment and tools that were in the back of the bakkie.
They were arrested at the scene and will appear in court on Monday on a charge of motor vehicle theft.
