Police in Gqeberha are investigating the murder of a 39-year-old man who was shot dead in a convertible BMW.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says another man is in critical condition in hospital following the shooting on the corners of Standford and Heathcote Roads in Bethelsdorp around 23:45 on Thursday night.
She said the driver of the car, Hans Jordaan, sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.
The second man, aged 45, was also wounded in the upper body and was rushed to a hospital in a private car.
Naidu says the circumstances surrounding the shooting is still under investigation and the case is being handled by the Provincial Organised Crime Investigation in Gqeberha.
